At The Pilot

We've been enjoying the lovely weather by taking a walk along the canal to one of our favourite pubs. What I didn't realise at the time was that it is a 5 mile walk from our house. Although apart from the industrial estate and the sewarage works its quite a nice walk.

Lottie loved seeing the ducks, and even learnt to say duck whilst we were walking. She wasn't quite so impressed by the swans. She also loved waving to all the boats that went by! And all the dogs we passed as well! She tried to take a few dives into the canal as well. Thank goodness for reins is all I can say!

At the pub Lottie enjoyed playing in the play area, chasing after a little boy (think she's taking after her daddy and is a bit of a flirt!) and getting pasta sauce all over her! Mummy was a bit annoyed that she couldn't enjoy a nice glass of wine for her efforts walking all that way but a bowl of chips was almost as good!
