Ruabhal, Benbecula

A colder day today - we traipsed up Ruabhal where Charles Edward Stuart had hidden in 1746 whilst trying to evade the Redcoats.

Benbecula means 'Stone in the river' and when you see the island from this viewpoint, it is clear. The place is made of water!!
