Part 5

From hanging out with Angelina, I went and hung out with Kyle and Sal and their 7 month old baby Jude.

Sal was the leader of my DTS (discipleship training school) with YWAM down in Mazatlan Mexico back in 06, and I hadn't seen her since. Was awesome to hang out with them catch up and see what they had been up to since leaving Mexico.

Stayed with them for one night then hitched it back to Cambridge. Which was interesting.

The guy that picked me up was like "hey dude. Im going through cambridge tomorrow, but Im going surfing in New Plymouth first.. you can come along if you want."

And I was like...Sure why not? Sounded like an adventure. ha. and it was. The guy smoked a lot of weed...but could surf incredibly well and had crazy stories of getting stranded in the galapagos and being bit by a shark...he had scars to prove it.. then making it back to New Zealand by boat with people he randomly met.. it was nuts.

The crazy thing is I know he wasn't lying cuz I told a friend of mine back here about him and he was like " I read an article in a surf magazine about that guy and how he got bit by a shark and all that stuff"haha.
