Poker night.

We headed down to Kelso at the invite of the Mowatts who were hosting a poker night in the fantastic house they had built.

The poker was spectacularly unsuccessful for me bing the first one out. I thought I was doing ok betting large on a flush at first (which was topped by an ace high flush) and a straight (which was beaten by a flush on the river card). Thankfully it was only for a fiver a head, and it was worth that for the few hands I did play anyway.

Evanna was the early chip leader, and at the time of this photo looked like she was going on to win it, but was pipped in the end by her friend Ollie.

Roz, despite being fairly drunk and not having a clue what she was doing managed to stage a comeback for second place (and very close it was too) and won her stake back.

A good night all in all.
