Good news - Mr D is traversing the country as we speak! He managed to get a ferry across the channel this morning. And I got him tickets booked on the train all the way home.

So all was going really well. (We even thought he might make my preview show this evening). He caught a train in Dover to London. He made it to the Edinburgh train and was happily ensconced in using the internet in comfort when the train broke down!

Oh well, he got another one and will hopefully now arrive later this evening. And hopefully everyone else's stranded loved ones will return home to them safe and sound very shortly too.

Today's blip is just what came to hand as I realised I had to go out and would not want to be blipping on my return.
