38 years...

Thirty Eight years ago I took off from college and headed into the wilds of New Mexico to be an archaeologist, abandoning friends and roommates. Little did I realize that it would take 38 years and facebook to reconnect us. This is one of my roommates from what was a very fine time of life. I was overjoyed to get to meet her and her charming husband in Santa Fe to share a meal. I certainly hope it doesn't take 38 more years to meet up again.

Today, I am grateful for my day, my life, friends and for facebook (with reservations).
