St. Johannes Church, Bremen- Arsten

It's cold and rainy today, with a sky the colour of lead. So I took the opportunity to sneak into little St John's Church at Bremen- Arsten.

I love the light inside this medieval church. Even on a dull day like today, it looks cheerful.
St John's was first mentioned in 1325, but the Romanesque details show that it was build much earlier, around 1200.

I'm sorry I didn't find an English website on this church, but if I do, I'm going to post it ASAP.
