Storyteller Series - #23 Hoover High support blip

One of the tiles mentions Hoover High School which is about 8 blocks away from the site of our Storyteller.
This is the auditorium at Hoover High School.  I can't seem to find a photo of the original building.  I know about two decades ago many of the high schools in Southern California were remodeled and retro-fitted to be more earthquake resistant.  
I wish I could have taken an interior shot -- they have all their Championship banners from past years hanging from the ceiling rafters along the walls.  Being the school's bright red Cardinal colors, it is VERY noticeable.
Ted Williams lived in the neighborhood and graduated from Hoover before he became a famous player on the Red Sox Baseball team.
