Today has been the first day of a photography course that I enrolled on a couple of months back. We had Catherine Connor, Jane Breakell as speakers and it has been truly inspiring. I know that this is only the first day of a 4 day course but I would already not hesitate in recommending it to anyone! I have come away with so many ideas I don?t think I will sleep tonight (I want to spend all night implementing my new ideas!) we also had Richard from Nicholsons chartered accountants (who have a team that specialise in photographers) to talk us through setting up a business, tax , vat etc. This is FANTASTIC as its stuff you need to know but probably wouldn?t go out to look for unless you had to! Check out their blog it is has loads of fantastic advice for people setting up or working in photography (and I can vouch that Richard is a very nice bloke!). I cant wait for tomorrow!
