Clean and green

Being a trainee curmudgeon I'm beginning to suspect that the recent ash fallout palaver has been the result of a mixture of caution taken to extremes, fear of making decisions and a deep over-reliance on computer modeling virtual world scenario computers know everything thinking. It wouldn't have happened 30 years ago.
But maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself and being over-curmudgeonly before my time.
