Like Father like Son

Like Father like son......

My mother-in-law told me that my husband was only 4 years old when he needed stitches. She had an instant flashback when hearing about our son needing stitches.

My son's preschool teacher told me today that when her son was 5 years old, he received stitches near his eye. Now that he is grown, the scar is high on his forehead.

So this got me thinking, will our son's scar move as he continues to grow? My husband's scar stayed put in his eyebrow. My childhood scar under my chin has stayed under my chin. Hmm, I guess it will be a mystery, until our little boy is all grown up.

Let's just hope and pray that will be his last set of stitches. And now to end the day with a nice quiet book......
