Feeling Welcomed...

I've (finally) arrived in St. Augustine, Florida to speak at the Florida's Birding and FotoFest. When I checked in to the hotel a "welcome pack" was waiting for me. It consisted of a branded pouch that contained some snacks, a branded cap, my speaker's badge, a printout of the sessions I'm presenting, and a really cool pen that lights up at one end. I have to say, I speak at a lot of events, but it is exceedingly rare to have such a nice packet waiting for me when I arrive at the hotel. So I have a good vibe about this event already!
