dress...

...thought this would be a celebratory blip today - my elder daughter & i went to collect her wedding dress, (after several problems with the shop,) thinking 'that's it.' odd they wouldn't let her go through to the other room to see it in daylight - 'the floor's dirty, there have been lots of people in today.' odd that the spotlight in the ceiling was turned away from the person standing in front of the mirror.

when we got it home & she put it on in good daylight - there's a mark right in the front of the bodice.....not of our making - we washed our hands before helping her into it and were so so careful

am so sad for her, & so angry at this complete lack of integrity that this establishment has shown throughout all our dealings with them, not least of which is taking my daughter's hefty deposit last may but not telling her they wouldn't be ordering the dress till january.

sorry about the rant - don't usually bring my personal life into blip - just so diasppointed for her

tomorrow morning - let battle commence!!!

went to the shop this morning, sat for an hour, owner admitted no liability, though she did call me the worst customer she's ever had!!! then she called the police!!!! i went quietly when they asked me, after the policeman spotted the stain in dim light immediately, having asked for both sides of the story. [you may ask why we didn't spot it yesterday....if you've ever collected your daughter's wedding dress with her, you'll know why - all normal brain functions are suspended.] the owner was thoroughly rattled, she'd even called in her mum for moral support! the suppliers are making us a new bodice, but we have to pay for it, but never mind........that stain can be seen here

have checked link and it doesn't work - can anyone help please? have had this problem for a while now
