Whitewash
With Beltane fast approaching (9 days - eeep!) we're trying to finalise our paint order. White paint is the most useless paint ever. In previous years we have used Grimas white waterbased paint and it has required about 5 layers and the cracks as soon as you move.
So we tried the Grimas creme based paint - it was so hard we couldn't get it out of the pot. Then we tried a liquid body paint that is supposedly used by the statues in covent gardens - it came out streaky and was going to need loads for good coverage. Currently we're looking at using Kryolan's aquacolour and using the liquid paint to water down the aqua so it's useable. Why can't they make white paint easy? Our final option is to use a grease paint but then you need to faff around with powders to set it.
In other news: We went to see How to Train a Dragon at the cinema today to distract me from the fact I have an exam tomorrow. We were the only ones in the cinema, I think we'll go more often on a Wednesday morning.
