HMS Daring.... Outbound on Triala

First time at sea in over a month for me since leaving the Hunt Class community. Since then I've been working at the sailing centre maintaining their outboard engines and other yachts - basically painting and the like.

Rewarded for all the hard work, I was treated to a forenoon out on a Drasco class Yacht. Not being one to pass up an excellent chance to play with my camera, I managed to get a few good shots. Have a look at my flikr page for more photos.

On the way back into the harbour, I spotted HMS Daring, a brand new Type 45 Destroyer heading out for more sea trials. Couldn't resist the opportunity to capture this shot as she passed Gunwharf Quays and the Spinnaker Tower on the way out.

Must the first time I've got a blip on during the working week - the joys of working full time, or at least showing my face at my place of work.
