Aristocats

Nienke has been going to streetdance class the past year. Today was the yearly performance. Now, as you may know we live in a small village and I did not expect the performance to be a big deal. I was so wrong! About 9 different groups (all from the same club) each did two dances. Over 200 people attended.

Nienke's group was the group of the youngest kids and this is a shot from one dance where her group moved around like cats. The music had lots of meowing in it too; it was great fun. Nienke is the girl with the white and pink cat ears. She was very nervous but she did great and really enjoyed it too. Her grandparents were there (except for my father-in-law who looked after Ellis and Inge) and aunt Jannie too and we all had a great time. Nienke was in bed way too late and we will probably have to deal with the consequences tomorrow, but that's OK!
