This is how they handle things in Brussels

As I lived in Amsterdam for quite a while, I am used to seeing squatters. Although squatting is not as popular in Brussels as it is in Amsterdam, you still see them around.

In this street close to our house there are four neglected houses in a row. These houses were broken into by squatters and they lived there for a while, but now the police has evicted them.

To keep squatters from coming back and breaking in again, workers are now building brick walls in front of the doors and windows. This is how they handle things in Brussels!
