Longacre wood!

I'm working this weekend so I took today as one of my lue days.
I have a list of jobs to do as long as my arm! but instead I went for a lovely walk along the canal.

Such a lovely day with wildflowers and birds along the route.

One of my favourite woodland is Longarce wood which is managed by the woodland trust.
Today the woodland was full of Wood Anemone.
Like many of our native wildflowers, the Wood Anemone has also another name, which is 'Windflower'.
