The Strangest Thing I've Seen ....

... in a supermarket.

I'm not sure what this strange throne-like set-up was all about in a supermarket near my studio.

Today is of course, Saint George's day, patron saint of England. I think it's rather marvellous that a mythical Anatolian is the patron saint of several countries including this one. One in the eye for Little Englanders.


Most importantly of all, today is Shakespeare's birthday (and death-day), perhaps the greatest Englishman.
