In the end, I chose this. Since we moved here nearly 20 years ago we have been sharing the house with a variety of creatures. Not sure what generation of jackdaw we are on now but they live in one of these chimney pots. They don't bother us at all.
I was pleased to get the moon in this too - I had seen it up there whilst I was walking through the village and wondered if I might get it with the chimney against the sky.
