St George

I have no great feelings about St georges day, I just happened to be passing through Albert Square. The idea behind celebrating it in Manchester with a council run festival started partly to 'reclaim it' from the far right.

Its a pity then that it is so crappily organised. One burger van, no booze and some kids singing in a gazebo. St Patricks Day was a much bigger affair which is probably just because of the drink.

At least these three seemed to be enjoying themselves :)


I on the other hand seemed to have picked up that stomach bug that is doing the rounds so off to stay close to the trap.
