On the road again ...
Interesting comments yesterday, about NZ being ideal Blipland - point your camera and click and you've got a stunning blip. Maybe not quite, but there is certainly an element of truth ... I like to think there is still some photographer skill ;-)
Today however, I probably would agree. I drove north from Queenstown to a small town in the Mackenzie Basin, 2.5 hrs drive, under clear blue skies and eventually a stunning setting sun, and amongst mountain and lakes. So it's been quite a dilemma, the classic scenic tourism shot, or something different.
I chose a road for several reasons. I was driving in a part of the country that is "huge". Large wide open spaces, big skies, big mountains - just stunning. More time for mountain scenics in the next 2 days ;-)
