The Old & The New

What a strange day for weather today! One minute it is snowing ... a minute later it is sunny ... then raining.

Caught this blip during a sunny break.

Up front is the original sandstone Calgary City Hall building. Completed in 1911 it is a designated historical site. We have a different definition of historical in Western Canada!

In behind is the Municipal Building, a triangular shaped structure of mirrored glass, completed in 1985. Won't be a historical buildign for another 25 years or so! :)
