Bothwell Castle
Not easy to get a shot of this at the moment due to the fact that so much of it is surrounded by scaffolding.
Just outside Glasgow, it is apparenlty one of the largest and finest 13th century stone castles in Scotland, A massive fortress, six times besieged, and at one time home to Archibald the Grim, the Black Douglas.
(It was the English who named him 'the Grim', because of his terrifying appearance when in battle).
