Back in the land of the bling palm trees

Yes - as Goretex guessed. I'm back in Dubai. Probably just passed KillerQueen and family!

It was a full flight...no spaces at all....and the guy infront immediately put his seat back as far as he could. Do folk know how antisocial that is!

So just had to watch movies on the inflight entertainment.

Watched Up In the Air with George Clooney. All about frequent flyers! He made his 10Million frequent flyer miles! I think I've probably passed my first million (thats two round trips to the moon). Maybe I do look a bit like George Clooney?

Got to the Sheraton Dubai Creek very late. They had a special rate for the conference. Just like the movie, we went through our wallets to see which cards we could get points on. Lo and behold...I found a Sheraton Gold Preferred Partner Card...so immediately got sent to the "Club Deck" level on the 6th floor. Nice room! The others just got standard rooms. Poor them ...
