Southend when the boat comes in

First warm (very warm) day of the year and everyone gravitates to Southend, it was absolutely packed. There were a few sights that I couldn't possibly take photos of, as i was trying to aim the gun at the time.

When the tide goes out in Southend it leaves very large mud flats, which if you catch them in the right light can be very photogenic. This photo shows how small boats get completely stranded at low tide, but with the water getting trapped in the undulating mud, gives you the opportunity to get an atmospheric shot.

Perhaps next time I'll get atmospheric shots of the other "sights"
