"The Fire that Blazed All Night"

Last night when I was down by the river walking some laps for Relay for Life (backblipped), my friends and I looked up and our entire campus was covered in a giant cloud of smoke. We had no clue as to what it was, but assumed that it wasn't on campus because we would have heard sirens.

We soon found out that the insane asylum, which I have blipped before, was burning. When Relay ended at midnight and all of the cleanup was done, I tried to drive over, but our view was blocked both because it was dark and because of the massive number of police cars and fire trucks in the way.

So it became today's "blipportunity" (thank you for that word Jillybean).

Elissa and I took a trip there today to see what happened. This house, which is in front of the 'psychiatric hospital' (not as creepy sounding as 'insane asylum') was what burned. It used to have a porch and I thought it was a pretty cool building. It's hard to think such a small little building could cause so much smoke.

I don't know what caused the fire yet.
