Let the Train take the Strain

Decided to go to Glasgow today.

We thought that we would take the train rather than the car as Angela was meeting an ex-colleague for lunch (Hi Dani!) and thought that a wee drink might be on the cards.

It was warm today and Glasgow was buzzing. For some reason there seems to be a vogue at the moment of filling Buchanan Street with the noisiest buskers imaginable. 2 sets of those Celtic drumming bands and a couple of sets of guys playing the pipes and drums plus the prophet-of-doom preacher made for a cacophony of noise over half of Glasgow's city centre. Did it really need to be so loud or am I just getting old.....?
