Blues in the Night

My mom made me this lamp from a sax we found in an antique shop and adorned the shade with the lyrics from the song "Blues in the Night" and silhouettes of my favorite jazz artists. The two featured above are Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

No big news, except I'm starting to feel the urge to take pictures, especially outside. Trouble is these urges come after nightfall, and I don't own a sturdy tripod yet.

I'm feeling a bit better about life.
