Flowers

I have been absent from life for a couple of months now, as I am currently the head of the PTA at my daughter's school, and we had a large (for our school) event last weekend. Trying to coordinate a large group of people from different cultures into achieving a goal is a challenge to say the least.
There were tears. From various people. Desperate housewives R us, but without the steamy bits.

On the day though we were blessed with great weather, about 1000 guests, and no hitches to speak of. We managed to raise a sizable amount of money for the school, and ¥145,000 ( about a thousand pounds) for UNICEF. So I think we can say it was a success.

Everyone worked their arses off, and I don't think I did any more than any of the other key members, but it was still lovely to get this beautiful bouquet from them last night at the after party.

Be relieved you7re getting a photo of the flowers, not the 10 if us at 3am singing "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles in a dodgy karaoke bar.
