The theatre

Here we are waiting for the first sighting of The Gruffalo. Yes, that is the deep dark wood on the stage, apparently.

It turns out Mr Gruffalo wasn't as scary as Charlie thought he was going to be, even when he ran around the audience.

The performance lasted about an hour, I think Charlie expected the mouse et al to look like actual animals.

He wasn't the only one surprised when the interpretation of the snake was a camp man with gold sequins!
