It's been a week for firsts. This evening I had my first go at gig photography, taking some photos for my officemate Steve's death metal band, Existing Threat. It was just as difficult as I thought it would be, the low light meant the camera was pushed to its absolute limit.

The band was on stage for 45 minutes, which sounds like loads of time to get a set of decent photographs but actually isn't! In the end I got about 45 shots I was happy with; I was quite pleased with a hit rate of 1 per minute.
