my sister chose this photo

I accidentally cut this tulip yesterday afternoon when I was trying to remove a stake from the garden. It was too pretty to let die, so I put it in water yesterday and I'm hoping it will still bloom.

I took a few dozen photos of the tulip on the last bit of battery power on my dslr, and I let my sister choose her favourite for today's blip. She chose this one for the colour and the leaf. I think she made a good choice.
