Old excavator

This old excavator was one my route back home today. I had to stop and blip it ;) It belonged to a farmer living opposite the thing. He died some years ago, but his farm was in worse condition than this thing while he was alive. The roof had collapsed so he and his wife only lived on the ground floor of the house. There was plastic over it to keep them dry. I think he had the money to have it all fixed, but just didn't care. Noone cared to remove this thing either. I wonder if it'll still be there in ten years time. Probably.

Oh, and since I'd only brought my 50mm lens with me, I had to take some distance from the thing. In tall grass. Then something brushed my leg. I thought it was a frog, but then it touched my other leg at the same time. Realizing it was probably a snake, I got the hell out of there. I'm a big baby when it comes to snakes and stuff ;)
