Rooks at Berwick Law....
Talking about volcanos, Berwick Law is the core of a volcano and there are plenty round about here (though they are quiet now, and have been for 350 million years). But the rooks are not so quiet but wild in the wind, which they seem to love, and they do wild flying stunts, diving and rolling and flying upside down which is what pilots (especially ones grounded by volcanic ash) must really want to do sometimes, and I am surprised that they don't, and on some long automated trudge to Australia, or somewhere else, announce "Look. I'm just going to do a couple of dives, then a wee roll, then a few miles upside down, cheer you all up, make you even gladder to get to wherever you're going than you had thought you'ed be...."
