Liam

Liam is one of the smartest kids I've ever met.
He is the only child I took a picture of today.
Today was parents day.
Liam was alone.
The only way I could think to cheer him up was to act like I was his parent.
Cheer him on while horseback riding, take pictures of him with the counselors, tell him he is doing a great job.
But Liam was too smart for that.
He knew his mother wasn't there.
He knew everyone else's mother was.
And seeing him cry for close to an hour was one of the saddest things I had ever seen.
