A beautiful warm laid back day wandering the streets of Paris. I meandered around the Bastille open air market, broad alleys of stalls selling the most wonderful fruit and vegetables, breads and cheeses... Then on to Pere Lachaise Cemetery which was an island of quiet and extraordinary beauty. Sacre Coeur beckoned in the late afternoon sun and I sat on the steps looking out over Paris as the sun set.
