Be excellent to each other

This is me.

Son Two invariably falls asleep in the pram on the way home from the school run, so I take time to reflect, for prayer and bible study. It's nice to find a bit of peace after the complete chaos and raised voices that accompany getting up and out in the morning.

I read UCB's 'The Word For Today'. Today's passage is about learning to respect differences, summed up in Paul's letter to Titus: '...be... gentle, showing... consideration for all...'. This is how I like to think of sharing my faith. Not by saying "I'm right and you're wrong", but by demonstrating God's love through my actions.

The mug in the background was a gift from dear friends when we moved away from our old church. It says "Life is fragile...handle with prayer". Works for me!
