Stand out from the crowd
Just a quick blip today, it's a bit of a grey and miserable day here so I didn't fancy hanging round the park for long.
The ground staff at Botanic Gardens do a really great job on the flower beds in the park, they're always perfectly colour coordinated. But this morning I noticed that this red and yellow tulip has slipped through the net, and is growing in the middle of a big bed of pure yellow ones. It doesn't help that it's also about 3 or 4 inches taller than all the others!
I suppose even the best gardener in the world has to accept that, now and then, genetics will ruin his flower bed :)
