Online shopping is easy and convenient until something goes wrong.

Apart from my credit card having been cloned at the weekend, I got a delivery today of a camera bag I had ordered on the internet. I ordered a red/silver one and the delivery note stated it was a red/silver one, but what actually presented itself was an espresso/sand one, possibly my least favourite colour combination from the selection on offer. Ugh.... So what do I do? Do I have the hassle of re wrapping it and sending it back, or do I just make do with the one that was sent?
I have e-mailed the firm involved and am awaiting their reply. It had better be an abject apology. Meanwhile the bag is lurking in a corner in it's polythene wrapping.

This afternoon we made an appointment to speak with a technical guru about what we want in the Dower House in the way of sound systems and internet connections.
His Lordship would be quite happy with just a tom-tom for communication, being a bit of a techniphobe, although he does have a laptop and also a mobile phone which is rarely switched on. I'm trying hard to bring him with me into the 21st century.

I read in a Sunday magazine yesterday that there is an I-phone app which together with an extra attachment ( costing £45!) will act as a remote control for television and lights. In time they think it will be possible to open your front door with your phone. How cool or dangerous is that.
