Tundra

These little guys are everywhere.

The tundra fills the highlands, hills, and valleys of Alaska. There are millions of square miles of tundra.

In the Fall the tundra turns a nice yellow-orange-red to provide vast subtle colors. This will happen soon.

The tundra is like the filler for Alaska. That is why this picture is here... filler. You see, my landscape images from this spot just didn't work out.

Oh, by the way, these are not flowers. I think the red berries there are poisonous.
