Hello there!

This cheerful little violet was peaking from behind leaves while I was walking to the gym.

It is Sweet Violet, Tuoksuorvokki in Finnish. This is the first time I have seen it. Most other violets start blooming a little later. It is very small and you really have to get down on your knees to notice the sweet scent or to take a picture.

Now I have to leave my spring observations for five days. I am off to Italy to a work trip. Let's hope all volcanos stay calm...
