If at first ...
It was Robert the Bruce, king of Scotland in the early 14th century (thanks, Wikipedia) who famously took inspiration from a spider that repeatedly tried and failed to build a web reaching to the top of his cave, until finally it picked itself up for the umpteenth time, undeterred, and succeeded, giving inspiration to the saying - "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."
So, with my repeated disappointments in preparation for my personal battle next month in Scotland, is this my sign? An inspirational spider to remind me to keep working at my goal and not give up, and I will achieve what I set out to do?
Or is it an out of focus bleary-eyed attempt at a super macro photo as I stumbled out to work this morning at 7am, which happens to be the best photo I've got?
You choose. Either way, it's your photo for the day.
