where did the sun go?

so the neverending journey of apparently building my house continues. i say building it simply because of the amount of work going on at the moment. i think it was my blip for the 10th or there about that shows the gaping hole in the house where the extension is being built.
today as you can see i have started work on my daughters new bedroom. it began with ripping out the cupboard that housed the water tank and boiler and then moved onto knocking out the fireplace.
now i don't mind the graft, it makes you feel like a proper bloke, but what gets me is the fact that its a bank holiday weekend and this is the first day of sunshine in weeks. no rain, no cloud just beautiful blue sky and sunshine and i didn't get to partake in any of it. so i hope all of you who were out and about today had fun, i envy you all.
not to worry though i have a five litre keg of lager cooling in the fridge and plan on booting the hell out of that fireplace tomorrow so i can watch the race and then fire up the barbecue and tap that keg.
i shall raise a glass to you all tomorrow.
