Milkmaids

Believe it or not this is my lawn, more of a meadow perhaps, but never the less at this time of year quite pretty.
I have always known the lilac flowers as milkmaids. As a child I lived in what was then quite a rural part of Hampshire. Opposite our house was a dairy farm and in spring the meadows were full of these flowers - I have always loved them.
