procrastination of the inevitable

The caption to this should read "Mom, I know, I know, but just listen, I just HAVE to tell you something". Which really means let me make something else up to avoid brushing my teeth, which then avoids story time and that just procrastinates the inevitable, bed time.

Burgers on the grill, a walk to the pool (but no swimming, sun almost down, water chilly) and then reading stories. Oh, how I love to read out loud. I always used to volunteer in grade school. My Mom saved all of mine and my siblings' books. T loves to find out who each book belonged to before we read it.

Love words. Love a photo that speaks to you or conveys a feeling.
