a white coat

so there is a white coat hanging in my closet now. it leaves a little bit of a strange feeling as it hangs there, knowing that i'll have to put it on in the near future and have no idea what i'm doing. at the ceremony, the deans suggested that we have the following well-practiced response prepared for at least the next two (of 4) years - "I don't know" - as questions will inevitably arise from friends and family seeking medical advice. it's going to be an adventure.
