Glass and Light

I bought a group of bright-colored bottles at Ikea when I was visiting Jason and Meg in Brooklyn. They nest together on our window sill. Today I needed a subject for a quick blip and saw these lit up. Next to them were our glass paperweights. Bingo, a subject for something bright and cheery.

I'm feeling good because my husband had his cataract surgery this morning and is doing well. Right now he's resting. The doctor said the surgery went well. Also I just learned that my son will be in Seattle in a couple of weeks and we'll be able to visit him there. The successful surgery and the unexpected visit made my day.
