Little Helpers
Today has been very nice. The sun is shining and yet the three of us (Chris is at work) decided to brave Milton Keynes. My logic was that as it was such a lovely day people would be mad to be inside the shopping centre.
I was wrong. It was very busy - but we still managed to get a free space up by John Lewis. We had fun too. Lou got a new packpack for school in September and the shopping trip jolted her in to remembering she also needs a pencil case and 'stuff' to go in it. I got a top from Monsoon in the sale... lovely! Bought some nice acrylic glasses from Whitards - very handy for the garden. We then hit the Lego shop - both Lou and Joe wanted some more Lego people. Choosing 6 people took almost an hour... Life changing decisions clearly! Then as a treat for being very well behaved we 'popped' into The Entertainer. I do like this Toy Shop - I love the fact that they do NOT open on a Sunday. Anyway - Joe particularly wanted another car, which he found and Lou decided she wanted some Hama beads. Joe is really pleased with his car, particularly as it lights up and makes a fab revving sound and Lou has already made a flower for her door.
They don't get any pocket money... so they are doing some jobs around the house to earn their toys.
