Ideas of grandeur

This pigeon has a great vantage point for watching the gentle folk of Chichester at lunchtime. He or she seems quite at home in this carved plinth which is one of the features of the old Market Cross. Its obviously a regular haunt for the pigeons as another plinth was also occupied by one of his buddies.
